Clinical Oncologist
Dr Emma spurrell is a consultant medical oncologist specialising in the treatment of breast cancer.
Her NHS base is Whittington Health NHS Trust in London. She qualified from Barts and the Royal London School of medicine in 1999, with first class honours and distinctions.
Her postgraduate training was at Barts Hospital, with training posts at Guys and Royal Marsden Hospitals. She gained an MRC clinical research training fellowship, completing a PhD in oncolytic adenovirus therapy in 2009. She has published book chapters, research papers and review articles in the cancer field.
