Most piles can be successfully treated by injection, which can be done during your appointment. You do not need to prepare for this procedure and takes only a few minutes.
Post your injection, you experience no restrictions but there may be some discomfort in the area and/or a small amount of bleeding, which is normal. Walking around will help ease the pain, or you may take Paracetamol.
