A Leeds University graduate, Miss Gahir completed her initial training at St. James’s Hospital before moving to Cardiff for Breast Surgery Training. She pursued advanced research on primary breast cancer and distant metastasis at the Institute of Cancer Research in London. Her career has taken her to Birmingham, Coventry, and Barts Health NHS Trust, where she honed her oncoplastic and trauma surgery skills.
Miss Gahir furthered her expertise through an international fellowship at the prestigious Institute of Umberto Veronesi in Milan, fostering global connections in breast surgery. Since then, she has been instrumental in advancing reconstructive surgery at North Middlesex Hospital, achieving a breast reconstruction rate well above the national average. Her philosophy centers on holistic treatment, ensuring both cancer care and aesthetic well-being for patients.
She resides in London with her husband and two children. As a family, they enjoy tennis, rugby, car racing, and Formula 1. An active member of the Fancy Foundation Charity, she aspires to establish a breast cancer charity in Kenya.
