Fertility

Female fertility begins to decline from the age of 30, with one in every 6 couples facing fertility issues i.e. to get pregnant.

Our consultants are trained specialists in fertility medicine and guide you through which tests and treatments are best suited for every individual couple.

What happens during your appointment?

When you become peri-menopausal (the natural transition into the menopause) your hormones begin to change, and at this stage it may lead to abnormal vaginal bleeding and less frequent menstrual cycle.

At your initial consultation, your consultant will perform a thorough gynaecological examination accompanied by a smear test, pelvic ultrasound and a breast ultrasound. This is to help them identify gynaecological or breast abnormalities, if any.
