Vacuum biopsy
If your consultant notices an abnormality during your breast mammogram or ultrasound they will refer you for a vacuum biopsy. A vacuum biopsy is a minimally invasive technique whereby a sample of the abnormal breast tissue is removed for further review. This is done under local anaesthetic using either mammography or ultrasound guidance.

Our Clinic is structured for the rapid assessment of breast lumps by clinical examination, imaging including mammography with tomosynthesis and/or ultrasound as appropriate with Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology (FNAC) or core biopsy as indicated by your consultant and MRI if required.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
