She qualified from Imperial College London, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences with Management (1st class honours) and also gained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. She completed her postgraduate medical training in London and her higher speciality training in Dermatology in Nottingham/Derby where she was trainee lead and part of a trainee group in the UK Dermatology Clinical Trials Network. During her training she has been awarded prizes for her presentations and fellowships to attend international conferences. Dr Mann has written guidelines for the British Association of Dermatologists on the management of people with pre-skin cancer.
She is currently a consultant dermatologist at the Homerton Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and is co-leading a clinical trial looking at improving skin cancer management, funded by the National Institute of Clinical Research.
