Physiotherapist
Alex Obradovich has worked extensively in the NHS and private sector.
Since graduating from the University of East London, she has spent a number of years working in sports medicine, mostly with triathletes. Her post-graduate training has been mainly in running assessment, spinal manipulation, pilates, acupuncture and dry needling.
Part of her work also involves working with musicians and singers. Her passion for functional rehabilitation, injury prevention and movement efficiency means her practice continuously draws on a variety of movement methods including the Alexander Technique, the Feldenkrais Method and clinical Pilates. She finds these rehabilitation methods to have remarkable clinical outcomes in retraining chronic musculoskeletal conditions, in post-operative recovery, as well as in retraining postural and highly skilled sports and performance movements.
Together with traditional physiotherapy approaches (spinal mobilisation, kinesiotaping, myofascial release, etc.), Alex also uses medical acupuncture and dry needling in her practice. She has an interest in lower limb and spine rehabilitation where she aims to enable her patients to live and move in effortless, efficient and joyful ways.
