Consultant Clinical Oncologist: Breast radiotherapy specialist & SABR

She is highly skilled in all aspects of radiotherapy including radical radiotherapy to the breast and regional areas for curative intent. She is also competent in SABR and SRS, an advanced form of radiotherapy which can be very effective for some patients with breast cancer with limited spread. She was one of the first Clinical Oncologists in the UK to deliver this form of radiotherapy, and has presented at International conferences and published in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Christy graduated from Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital, with an Intercalated BSc in Immunology, and underwent clinical training in London. She underwent her Specialist training in the South East of England, including time at the Royal Marsden Hospital. 

She was awarded a research MD for research into exploring aspects of SABR technique to optimise treatments. Her ongoing research interests include SABR and permanent marker free breast radiotherapy.

She practices as a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospitals and the Princess Royal University Hospital, Farnborough, Kent.
