Dr Rosy Jalan’s clinical interest is in Musculoskeletal radiology. She has been a Consultant Radiologist at the Barts and the London for the past 10 years.
Over the past 5 years, Dr Jalan has been the lead clinician in Musculoskeletal radiology and run a service with 3 other Consultants, providing secondary and tertiary service to large orthopaedic and rheumatology departments.
Dr Jalan undertakes all forms of complex diagnostic imaging involving MRI scanning and ultrasonography. She performs interventional procedures under image guidance such as biopsies and injections.
Her particular interest is in Sports Injuries and she is part of a multidisciplinary team providing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for all forms of sports injuries. Dr Jalan has developed the area of Paediatric musculoskeletal imaging and run multidisciplinary clinics with Paediatric musculoskeletal specialists.
Dr Jalan is in charge of Infection control and provide core teaching in radiological techniques to post graduates and sports medicine specialists. She is on the Faculty for Sports Medicine at QMUL. Her research interests are in Achilles tendinopathy and femoro-acetabular impingement.
