At 108 Harley Street, Mr Masannat works closely with specialist breast radiologists, pathologists, breast care nurses, oncologists and plastic surgeons. This multidisciplinary approach allows patients to receive coordinated investigation and treatment in a supportive environment. Where appropriate, breast imaging—including mammography and ultrasound—and needle biopsy can be arranged as part of the diagnostic pathway.

Mr Masannat has particular expertise in combining cancer surgery with advanced oncoplastic techniques to achieve the best possible cancer and cosmetic outcomes. His surgical practice includes breast-conserving surgery, therapeutic mammoplasty, Breast Reduction Surgery, mastectomy, implant-based reconstruction, chest-wall perforator flaps, axillary surgery, lipomodelling and surgery to improve breast symmetry following cancer treatment. Autologous breast reconstruction is undertaken in collaboration with specialist plastic surgery colleagues.

He is a Visiting Associate Professor at Anglia Ruskin University and Tutor on the Master’s program in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery. He is also the Meetings Secretary and an elected Trustee of the Association of Breast Surgery and serves on the International Committee of the American Society of Breast Surgeons.

Mr Masannat is actively involved in clinical research, surgical innovation and medical education. He has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications, contributed to multicentre breast-surgery research and received funding for a range of research projects. He was awarded a National Clinical Excellence Award in 2025 in recognition of his contribution to clinical care, research, education and professional leadership.

He is the founder and editor of iBreastBook, an international open-access educational platform for breast and plastic surgeons. Its webinar programme has attracted clinicians from more than 100 countries and has become an established resource for teaching contemporary breast and oncoplastic surgery.
