Dr Hedley Berry was an NHS Consultant at Kings College Hospital, London for over 25 years where he taught Rheumatology to generations of students. Dr Berry started as a general physician and was senior registrar at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital in London on the cardiology unit, before specialising in Rheumatology at the Royal London Hospital. He then carried out academic research, which lead him to obtain a doctorate of medicine, in addition to his medical qualification from the University of Oxford.

Dr Berry currently practices privately at various hospital across London including at The Clementine Hospital He is a recognised teacher at the University of London and for many years, Dr Berry was involved in research programmes looking into the role of anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic drugs in the treatment of rheumatoid and osteoarthritis.
