Mia studied medicine at the University of Cambridge, earning a Master’s degree in Physiology and Development. She completed her clinical training at University College London, graduating with distinction and receiving multiple academic awards. She was ranked second nationally for entry into dermatology training, which she completed at some of the top centres in central London.
Her clinical interests include the early detection of skin cancer, skin surgery, acne, hair conditions, and common skin concerns like eczema, psoriasis, and pigmentation disorders. As the Skin Cancer Lead in her hospital, Mia is a skin cancer expert and works closely with patients and colleagues to ensure the highest quality care.
With hundreds of hours of surgical experience, Mia is a skilled dermatological surgeon known for her precision and thoughtful approach. She regularly performs cryotherapy, biopsies and excisions, as well as the removal of benign skin lesions such as cysts, warts, and skin tags.
She is actively involved in medical education and dermatology research, staying at the forefront of new treatments and innovations in skin health.
Outside of her work, Mia is a mum to her young son and cherishes family time, good food, and seeing the world with her loved ones.
