Which colorectal symptoms need to be investigated?

Colorectal symptoms that need to be investigated:

  • Rectal Bleeding – Especially Dark Stool and Blood Mixed and in the Stool
  • Black Tar like Stool
  • Change in Bowel Habit (Diarrhoea or Constipation) Lasting More than 4 Weeks
  • Mass / Lump Protruding at Anal Verge
  • Symptoms and Signs of Anaemia eg. Blood Test Shows Iron Deficiency or Anaemia
  • Positive Faecal occult Blood Test
  • Faecal Urgency – Urge to Defecate without Relief
  • Faecal Incontinence
  • Pelvic Floor Weakness
  • Pain at / or Discharge from Anus
  • Pain at / or Discharge / or Lump in Natal Cleft
