He began his academic journey at King’s College London (KCL), where he studied both Medicine and Philosophy—an inspiring combination that continues to shape his holistic approach to dermatology. His passion for knowledge led him to complete a doctoral degree at University College London, where he researched the relationship between genital human papillomavirus (HPV), lichen sclerosus, and penile cancer. His passion for knowledge culminated in a doctoral degree from University College London (UCL), where he investigated the relationship between genital human papillomavirus (HPV), lichen sclerosus, and penile cancer.
Dr Kravvas works at the cutting edge of dermatological research and innovation. He has published widely in the medical literature and is a regular speaker at international conferences, where he shares insights to improve the understanding and management of skin conditions across the globe.
His clinical interests span a wide range of dermatological issues, including male genital skin diseases, mole screening, skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, skin surgery, acne, rosacea, pigmentation disorders, and hair loss.
In addition to his clinical and academic work, Dr Kravvas is passionate about education. He regularly gives talks to medical professionals and the public and is the co-host of SkinScope, a dermatology podcast designed to share expert insights in an accessible and engaging way.
